UK: Si presents on next generation SOCs
Si was invited by Sapphire to speak about Next Generation SOCs at an NISC sponsored event in Jersey.
The event was held on 20th September 2016 and discussed the subject “Zero-Day attacks and Ransomware are not your biggest threat!”.
This was one of a series of regional events that have been planned in association with the National Information Security Conference (NISC) and was held at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Jersey. The forum enabled information security professionals to discuss current and emerging threats and mitigation techniques and consisted of keynotes by industry speakers and an exhibition hall featuring leading security technology vendors.
Chris Cheyne, Si’s Global SOC Director, took the audience through a roadmap of building, operating and maturing an efficient security operations center to provide 24x7 Security Incident Detection and Response capabilities. Chris explained the maturity model required to move customers to a next generation SOC by introducing themes such as behavioural anomalytics, SOC automation and situational intelligence.
